Ilala Lodge Hotel provides guests with easy access to the thundering cascades and breathtaking viewpoints. And from the hotel garden and terrace it’s possible to see the spray of the falls, and sometimes even a rainbow. It also allows for unforgettable sunrise and sunset views over this natural wonder.

Ilala Lodge Hotel sets itself apart with its top-notch service, where every detail is meticulously attended by the warm and welcoming staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with genuine hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home.
The team helped me with organizing guided tours to both Zimbabwe and Zambia sides of the falls, which was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my trip to this region.
I’ve had very knowledgeable guides that toured me around the national parks where the falls are located, sharing valuable information and showing me the most amazing spots in this magnificent site.

The gardens and the two pools available are amazing, allowing guests to relax surrounded by nature or to enjoy the Zimbabwe sun by the pool, after a thrilling day exploring the falls.

Culinary delights await at the hotel’s renowned and award-winning Cassia Restaurant. The indoors of the restaurant are beautifully decorated and the terrace offers an amazing experience of al fresco dining with garden views.

Wildlife Encounters
Additionally, if you are lucky you can also have some sightings of wildlife. While I was staying there I saw some African deers drinking at the water hole. And one night after dinner, I spotted two hippos grazing lazily at the lawns. A delightful surprise that added to the lodge’s unique charm.
